Vanco Intelligence Group was founded in 2015 by retired Detective Supervisor Christopher Vanadia upon his retirement from the Morris County Prosecutor's Office.

Mr. Vanadia is an EnCase Certified Computer Forensic Examiner an Access Data Certified Computer Forensic Examiner and holds certifications in cell phone forensics from Cellebrite Corporation.

With over 25 years of law enforcement experience, he began his law enforcement career in 1986 as a Military Police Officer in the US Army Reserves, achieving the rank of Sergeant. In 1990 he became a Police Officer with the Roseland Police Department. During that time, Mr. Vanadia was credited with the off-duty arrest of a 1st degree sexual assault suspect in Parsippany, NJ, which ultimately led to the defendant’s conviction and 25-year jail sentence.

In 1993, Mr. Vanadia was hired as a Detective by the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. During his 22-years with the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, he was assigned to the Sex Crimes/Child Abuse Unit where he worked tirelessly for six years, investigating some of the most heinous crimes against children. He was later selected by the US Secret Service to attend a Basic/Advanced Computer Forensic training at the US Secret Service HQ, in Washington DC and was assigned to the High-Tech Crimes Unit until his retirement in 2015. 

During that 15-year period, he held an 18-month dual assignment in the High-Tech Crimes Unit and Fraud/Professional Standards Unit. He was selected to train and assist the members of the Fraud/Professional Standards Unit with the digital evidence available in Fraud investigations. While assigned to the Fraud/Professional Standards Unit, he was responsible for investigating several multi-million-dollar fraud investigations, employee abuse investigations and conducted hundreds of pre-employment background investigations regarding Assistant Prosecutor and Detective candidates.

During his tenure in the High-Tech Crimes Unit he was selected to be a member of the New Jersey State Police, Cyber Terrorism Task Force and the United States Secret Service, Electronic Crimes Task Force. He has received over 1500 hours in Advanced Computer Forensics, Cell-Phone Forensics, Intrusion Detection, CISSP, Ethical Hacking and Video Surveillance training from the US Secret Service, FBI, National Computer Forensic Institute, Global Knowledge, The Training Camp, Cellebrite Corporation, Guidance Software and Access Data.

Mr. Vanadia has received several citations for his investigative work and has been credited with completing numerous high-profile computer forensic examinations which provided overwhelming proofs that ultimately lead to the arrest or assisted in the prosecution of homicides, fraud, professional standards, sex crimes and narcotic investigations.
